The Vagus Nerve is the main parasympathetic pathway and it innervates most of our body’s organs. This workshop will be an experiential discovery that will help you understand your nervous system and how to balance stress by accessing the vagus nerve. The Vagus is sending us lots of information about our internal state all the time.

At the Vishuddha Yoga Centre with my dear friend and retreat partner, Rachel Lewis.
This session is suitable for everyone. We will practice some techniques that will help you connect with your Vagus nerve. The session will be based on traditional Yogic practices with a slow and meditative start, self-awareness of your nervous system, working intimately with the breath, full body limber, deep savasana, meditation, chanting, and self-observation.
There will be time to catch up after the session with delicious nourishing food if you attend in person. Feel free to contact me if you are unsure of your suitability to attend and any health concerns that may affect your practice. All welcome.

Vishudha was recently purpose-built exclusively for the practice and teaching of most styles of Yoga. I love this space. It is modern, light and immaculately clean and well-maintained and it has a fully equipped kitchen, social space, shower, and garden. It has the best quality yoga equipment so just bring yourselves and everything else with be provided.
Rachel Lewis will be helping as a Zoom model for those attending online so that you can follow her lead if you are unsure of any instructions. Rachel will also be teaching the Yoga Nidra practice and providing delicious nourishing plant-based food at the end of the session for those attending in person.

Zoom – £30
The studio has excellent tech facilities for zoom attendees. The advantages are many, you can practice in the comfort of your own home and if you are not local and there isn’t the bother of travel or parking. There is no parking around the area and the traffic is set to be bad with road closures.

In – Person – with Plant-based Food £45
There are limited in-person places so please book early to secure a place with Rachel Lewis’s incredible plant-based food included in the cost. This may inspire you to come and eat on our retreats.
In other news, I continue to teach private clients either in my studio or at home. I have a few gaps in my schedule if you are interested. The studio space at home accommodates 3 people and is charged at £80 per hour per session. It also is set up for zoom and I will be installing an aerial trapeze soon. We were back on retreat in Tuscany last summer after a 3 years break. It was wonderful. Please come this year. We may do two in early Summer and early Autumn. Let me know if you are interested.
